Refund & Cancellation Policy

Crypted AI provides custom software, web, AI, and automation services. We do not sell physical goods, so there is no shipping, and returns work differently than for a product. This page explains how deposits, refunds, and cancellations work. All amounts are in US dollars (USD).
Deposits and milestones
Most projects start with a deposit and are billed in milestones as the work progresses, as set out in your proposal. The deposit reserves our time and covers the discovery and setup work at the start of an engagement.
Refunds
- If you cancel before any work has started, your deposit is fully refundable.
- Once work is underway, fees for work already completed are non-refundable, since that time has been spent. If you have pre-paid for work we have not yet done, we refund the unused portion.
- If we are unable to deliver what we agreed and the fault is ours, we will make it right or refund the amount paid for the affected work.
Cancellation
You can cancel a project at any time by emailing us. On cancellation, you are responsible for paying for the work completed and any non-cancellable costs committed up to that point. We will hand over completed, paid deliverables in a usable state.
Monthly retainers and subscriptions
Ongoing retainers can be cancelled with reasonable written notice before the next billing date. Fees already paid for the current period are not refundable, but you keep the service through the end of that period.

If something is not right with a charge or a deliverable, contact us first and we will work it out. Most issues are resolved quickly with a direct conversation.
